A parking garage off South Broadway in White Plains, Westchester County partially collapsed around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, News 12 Westchester reports.

The parking facility, situated next to the Sonata Downtown White Plains hotel and attached to the Westchester One building by a walkway, trapped more than a dozen vehicles on its fourth floor after the fifth floor above gave way.

First responders and investigators are still on the scene and engineers are at the site assessing the damage. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities but this is a developing story.
According to News 12 Westchester, the parking garage is privately owned but open to the public.
