I get to talk to so many comedians...it's probably the best part of my job. 10 years ago I got to meet Billy Gardell at Eisenhower Hall at West Point...and we've kept in touch over the years. Billy is known for the sitcoms '"Mike & Molly" and "Bob Hearts Abishola" on CBS but he's always done stand-up comedy. Which is why I chatted with him today as his national tour "Less Is More" is crisscrossing he country with a stop in Peekskill at the Paramount Hudson Valley on Friday May1st. Since his TV days, Billy has lost over 150 pounds and isn't shy about his motivation...trying to live longer! I've also dropped some weight so we share that in common! Being a Pennsylvania guy, Billy is a Steelers fan and I'm a Giants fan so that will always be a point of contention...if they meet in the super Bowl this season the sparks will fly LOL
