Keeping Yogi Berra's legacy alive!

I was lucky enough to meet Lindsay Berra, Yogi's granddaughter, when she played in the charity softball game organized by Yankees great Bernie Williams. Besides being a sports reporter, Lindsay devotes much of her time talking about her Hall-of-Fame gramps...and what stories she tells...all with a smile on her face!.

The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center located in Little Falls New Jersey and has many programs and exhibits open to the public...including this weekend...here's the museum's news release....

Join us this Sunday, 4/19 at 2pm for a fascinating discussion on author Erik Simpson's biography of Joe "Flash" Gordon, the American League’s first power-hitting second baseman. Simpson will be joined by sportswriter and J. G. Taylor Spink Award winner Claire Smith and Larry Berra, the eldest son of Yogi and Carmen Berra.

Following the discussion, Simpson will be signing copies of Joe “Flash” Gordon: A Biography of the Hall of Fame Second Baseman.” Books are available for purchase in advance at the Museum for $45. Admission to the Museum and discussion are included with the purchase.
