While other local farms lost most of their peaches to a cold snap earlier this year, Dave at DuBois Farms in Highland has got acres of delicious peaches ready for picking!

Instead of using helicopters to try to force warmer air down to the orchards, Dave set controlled fires near his peach trees and used giant fans to push the warmer air toward his crops. 

While there's a lack of local peaches elsewhere, DuBois has all you need...some two thousand trees full of ripe peaches like the one he gave me this morning!
