Amazon Prime Video Doubling This Already Annoying Feature

So much for commercial-free viewing. Let me tell you how it feels when a streamer I pay good money to subscribe to adds more commercials: It disrupts the viewing experience, making a paid service feel like cable TV. It’s frustrating, intrusive, and diminishes the value promised. But that's exactly what Prime Video will be doing.

You've got to be thinking the same thing as me: 'Doesn't Amazon take enough of our money already?'

Not only are we getting more of what we despise, according to gizmodo.com, Amazon Prime Video is about to DOUBLE the number of commercials shown per hour on ads-included memberships.

Adweek reports that the amount of commercials Prime Video runs will go 2-3 minutes per hour to 4-6 minutes per hour.

Obviously, if you want ad-free viewing with Prime Video you'll have to pay for the privilege (and that subscription tier already went up $3/month last year). Me? I'll just have to grin and bear sitting through more ads.
