Hi, it's Kacey! I have the honor of speaking at a very special event this week - the annual meeting of the Westchester Federation of Women's Clubs! They are a powerful group who give of their time and talents to make their communities better for everyone. 

This is a topic dear to my heart. When I'm not spending time with you on the radio, I get to run my own nonprofit called Let It Shine Inc.  The goal at Let It Shine is to "gather love and give it away" through free community events, women's retreats and even a food pantry.  Let It Shine will be hosting free yoga all summer outside in Verplanck's Riverfront park.  We're able to do that in part with the funds we raise at our LISA or "Let It Shine Again" - thrift store.  

The point is - there is so much good to be done and you can do it in YOUR community.  Start your own group or join the Federation of Women's Clubs! www.gfwc.org
