It's almost Halloween in The Hudson Valley and the entire area is about to be overrun by witches and the like!
Even the waters off Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow turn witchy on October 12th with the return of the annual Witches Festival & Paddle Parade on Hudson!
Witches on brooms are unsurprising. It's their chosen mode of transportation. Witches on PADDLEBOARDS? Now, that's a skill and one you can witness during the Witches Paddleboard Parade down the Hudson River. In fact, if you're feeling witchy and adventurous you can even join the parade! It's a good thing these ones don't melt like the Wicked Witch of the West! And, darn, do I wish I possessed the ab muscles to participate, lol.
It looks like the festival, which runs from noon to 4 p.m. that day, will also feature the Headless Horseman happy to meet you and greet you (if you dare), live music, food, beverages, and more!
