Here's When You Can Enjoy Walkway Over the Hudson at Night

Walkway Over the Hudson offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Hudson River from the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge. This New York state historic park is perfect for walking, biking, and taking photos, connecting Poughkeepsie and Highland while blending history, nature, and scenic beauty into one unforgettable experience.

Walkway is a wonderful to do during the day, but this spring, summer, and fall, you'll have multiple opportunities to indulge in an evening stroll.

Walkway Over the Hudson has revealed the seven dates/times you can visit after dark this year. They are listed below!

  • Friday, April 24 - 7:30-9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 22 - 8:30-10:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 26 - 8:30-10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 25 - 8:30-10:00 p.m.
  • Friday, August 21 - 8:00-9:30 p.m.
  • Friday, September 25 - 7:00-8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 24 - 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 in advance, free for children under 12, and free for Walkway members.

Weather permitting, visitors will also be allowed to bring telescopes onto the walkway to capture the stars and other celestial happenings.
