As a radio morning man, I've always had head shot cards to give out to listeners at public appearances...and sometimes people ask for an autograph. I know, hard to believe, right?

Well apparently I signed an old black & white card years ago for a lady named Victoria and now in 2026, either Victoria is no longer a fan or really needs money, because the signed card , now laminated BTW...showed up on eBay for an asking price of $12. Mind you, none of us charge anything to sign a card so $12 seems a bit steep!   

My co-worker Jimmy Lyles discovered it on eBay and alerted me...and my reaction was who in their right mind would pay anything, much less $12 for an old photo of ME? Especially anyone not named Victoria!

Well the answer came this week when my boss at WHUD, Chuck Benfer handed me the card because he BOUGHT IT on eBay! And he paid full price! Now it's on my work desk...and at $12 is perhaps the most valuable item on my desk! LOL
