Lydia Mills of the Poughkeepsie Salvation Army stopped by the WHUD studio this morning as her organization prepares for their Kettle kick-off dinner on Thursday, November 7th!

She told me that my boss, Chuck Benfer and our company...PAMAL Broadcasting is being honored at the event at the Doubletree in Poughkeepsie!

Here's the Salvation Army's statement about the upcoming award:

Your belief in the importance of community engagement and your willingness to use the power of local media to support worthwhile causes have exemplified the spirit of this award. Whether through promoting community events, supporting nonprofit organizations, or serving as a trusted advocate for the Hudson Valley and surrounding communities, your contributions have helped foster growth, connection, and opportunity.

More on this event coming up Monday morning at 6:15 & 8:15 with Mike Bennett on 100.7 WHUD!
