Newburgh DMV Closes Temporarily Next Month, Here's Why

Need motor vehicle services in Newburgh next month? You'll need a change in plans.

Starting July 7th, the Orange County Department of Motor Vehicles office located at 128 Broadway in Newburgh will close temporarily.

The reason is because the location will be getting a long overdue makeover, according to Mid Hudson News

In an effort to improve visitor experiences, the reported renovations will include a more conveniently designed and inviting entrance area, plus aesthetic updates like new paint, carpet, flooring, and furniture.

Fear not, though, if you're not sure what to do. Once a week, a mobile office will be set up at 128 Broadway during the closure, or motorists needing to conduct DMV visits can visit the county's three other offices in Goshen, Middletown, and Port Jervis.
