Why Graduating Mahopac High School Seniors Just Went Back to Elementary School

Back when I graduated from high school in the prehistoric age of 1993 (lol) there was no tradition of going back to visit my elementary school beforehand. But, much like promposals, it's a rite of passage that seems to exist for this generation.

And that's what some of the Class of 2025 from Putnam Valley did recently.

The graduating seniors from Mahopac High School returned to their former elementary schools, Austin Road, Fulmar Road and Lakeview, for a celebration back where their formal education all began.

According to MidHudson News, the seniors participated in walkthroughs of their primary institutions where they were met by future graduates, former teachers, and lots of fan fare!

Sometimes you have to go back to humble beginning to see how far you've come. As these high school seniors prepare to graduate and move on to higher education, going back to their elementary school must have given them a tremendous boost of pride and sense of accomplishment because, as they'll find out the older they get, time really does FLY.
