From the "You learn something new every day" department.....I always believed the US Post Office had an official motto.....nope the unofficial motto of the USPS is, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds". While widely associated with the U.S. Postal Service, this phrase is actually an inscription on the James Farley Post Office in New York City, derived from a 5th-century BC description of Persian couriers by the Greek historian Herodotu.
Clean around your mailbox so your postal carrier can live up to the UNOFFICIAL motto of the USPS *
And with these new delivery trucks, it seems they can certainly see what's coming!
* Don't forget your local fire hydrant too
