The world's fiercest apex predator has paid a visit to New York.

According to New York Post, a Great White Shark was spotted in the waters off the coast on Montauk in the Hamptons.

Maybe it was hoping to get intel on an upcoming White Party or a glimpse of Gwyneth Paltrow doing yoga on the beach. Whatever tempted the beast to the area you can see in the video below by Joanna L Streidle via Storyful the sheer mass of the shark just leisurely gliding along.

It's definitely a sign that summer if approaching, right? A glorious image if you ask me. Great Whites are the most majestic creatures in my opinion. Dangerous, yes. Deadly, sometimes. But there's just something awe inspiring about a creature that has occupied the planet longer than any other.
