I didn't think it was possible for me to get even more Chick-fil-A shivers this week after finding out that one is being built in Dutchess County not far from the radio station but I have!
As it happens, there's also a brand new Chick-fil-A popping up in Orange County within driving distance of where I live.
Up until now, when a Chick-fil-A craving hits I have to wait until I'm near one of the rest stops on the Thruway. But soon I'll have a much more convenient experience.
I'm powerless against the chain's chicken sammies and nuggets. And that waffle fries? Very necessary.
So, congratulations, Fishkill AND Middletown! Chick-fil-A restaurants/drive-thrus are being built near you. The Fishkill location is currently being built on Route 9 right in front of the new Planet Fitness and near Walmart. Construction is well underway there.
And in Middletown, the Chick-fil-A is coming along nicely on Route 211. I snapped this pic recently.
Not the greatest, I know, but I wanted to show the progress as the restaurant there also looks like it's popping up quickly.

I'll work on updating you on opening dates for both as soon as I can.
