I am so very proud to have landed at WHUD after years of radio that included Anchorage, Alaska, Sacramento, California and many Hudson Valley stations since my return to New York. These travels have allowed me the privilege to meet and interview some of our greatest rock groups like Chicago, Hall and Oates and Journey.
I was born and raised in Riverdale, NY. God’s country as some would say but still really The Bronx. One did have to leave the Oasis to live and work.
Somewhere on the way to studying to be a Veterinarian at Manhattan College I was dragged into the college radio station by two of my lifelong friends. I was bitten by the bug and never recovered. I was a Communications major within the year.
I always loved music and dancing and to be able to bring some of our favorite songs to life to the listeners just makes me smile.
I have fulfilled my love for nurturing Gods great creatures by having two beautiful daughters, being a wonderful caring wife (I put that in after my husband proof read this for me) and enjoying the animal kingdom with loving pets of all species.
So I hope you have a chance to join me some weekend as I get to play truly, “One Great Song After Another,” on your’s and my favorite radio station 100.7 WHUD.
