It took me over 40 years to find my soulmate. We knew each other as teenagers and reconnected many years later via Facebook. Such a understanding, supportive and beautiful person. He knew I had a child (who was sick) from a previous relationship and he was so understanding because she came first. You hear stories of relationships not working out because some people can’t deal with the “baggage” of kids that aren’t theirs. But not Michael, he knew and was fine knowing my daughter was always my first priority. A few years later my daughter’s illness became terminal and she privately asked Michael if he promised to take care of me if something happened to her. She didn’t want me to be alone. He of course said yes. Something did happen to her and my world came crashing down. Michael has been there for me throughout all my ups and all my downs. I have more down days than up and this man has kept his promise to my daughter, after almost two years. He is always there to pick me up. I want to send a special I love you to him. I don’t know where I would be today if I didn’t have him in my corner. I love you Michael.
