Working in a laboratory during this pandemic has not been easy but the phlebotomists in the lab have been keeping a positive attitude by listening to 100.7. It helps put us in better moods. We sing along with songs and do a little dance as we quickly move past each other and laugh. It's one of the few things that helps make the day go by and keeps us positive so we can give the best care to our patients as possible. I believe it also helps the patients who are nervously awaiting a blood draw. I notice a lot of patients signing along as they anxiously look away during a blood draw. Overall, the music helps everyone stay relaxed, calm, and happy.
