The highly anticipated Wicked sequel has been officially titled Wicked: For Good and is set to be released on November 21, 2025. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who star as Glinda and Elphaba, shared the news on Instagram with a joint post. Erivo discussed the challenges of singing while flying in a harness during an interview with Angelina Jolie, emphasizing the responsibility of performing such a well-known song. The physical demands of the role required Erivo to coordinate her body, brain, and voice to work seamlessly together, a task she felt proud to have accomplished.
