Montgomery locals were in no shock when a Peacock duo were spotted walking down the Montgomery streets. Spotted by a local business owner, the duo were addressed by the public as well-known friends of the community. Guess it is safe to say this feathery duo has made quite an impact on the public, as they’re basically considered locals now! The sighting did leave many locals wondering if these peacocks were someone’s lost pets, or if they have wandered from their outside habitats. And although you might be asking yourself if owning peacocks as pets is even possible, the answer is yes! Peacocks as pets is indeed legalized in NYS.
