Ketcham Graduate, Tyler Adams, Named Soccer Player Of The Year!
23 year old Tyler Adams was named captain of the U.S. World Cup Team back in November of 2022 as they prepared for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to ESPN, Adams was announced as the U.S. Male Soccer Player of the Year.
This is a GREAT early birthday present for the young soccer star, who turns 24 on February 14th.
After receiving the news, Adams told ESPN, “‘Receiving this type of recognition is certainly special, but for me, the team’s success is the most important thing. Having the experience of going to the World Cup, performing well as a group, and moving the sport forward in the United States was super important to me this year, and I couldn’t have done it without my teammates.'”
