Kelly Clarkson Reveals Major Change To Career For New Show – And Fans Might Be Disappointed

Kelly Clarkson was a part of a Q&A about a new television show she is hosting for NBC. The singer and talk show host spoke about her new gig with the talent show, American Song Contest.
When asked if she would be performing on the show, Kelly says this time around it’s not about her and more about the new talent coming to the stage.
“I perform five days a week on television if you want to see a song,” said Clarkson. “I’m second-guessing that idea, by the way, from my talk show.”
American Song Contest will feature up-and-coming artists from all 50 states over the eight-week contest to win the country’s vote for the new best hit song. The new talent shows airs on March 21 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
