My passion for weather began at the young age of 10 years old in the 4th grade of Pembroke School in Danbury, CT. At the time, my 4th grade teacher sensed that I was serious about my topic and gave me some extra work in math and science. I think it really paid off. Through my high school years there was no question that I would study meteorology on college.
I graduated from Lyndon State College in Northeastern Vermont in May of 1984 and was hired at Fleetweather in October of that year and have been there ever since. I have been broadcasting at WHUD on a fill-in basis for 20 years and am thrilled to now be the main voice of the weather for the station.
I met my wife Nancy in college and was married in 1989. We have four great kids...Eric, Matthew, Sean and Shannon (not too Irish, huh?). Pet owners too...Shadow and Tippie are the felines and our Golden Retriever Madison is the newest addition to the family.
So here I am, in my 40's now, and I still play softball during the summer but do nothing at all in the winter other than drive the kids around to various schools and recreational activities. I play the guitar and love the Yankees.
I look forward to bringing you the weather forecast each day and hope that you enjoy listening.
