100.7 WHUD on Facebook

John Nolan

M-F 12:00AM - 5:30AM

I have been with WHUD since 1981, when radio legend Joe O'Brien was still the morning man. I was born and raised in New York City, and grew up listening to the WMCA "Good Guys" and the WABC "All Americans." They inspired me to become a radio deejay. Before radio, I worked in banking at the World Trade Center when it was new. My great uncle Patrick O'Keefe of Waterford, Ireland was a third class passenger on Titanic, and survived by swimming through the freezing water to the overturned lifeboat, "Collapsible B." I wrote a published book about it, In Search of Great Uncle Pat: Titanic Survivor.    I have a dry sense of humor. In my younger days, I did a little standup comedy, and appeared once at the original Improv comedy club in NYC.
