12am - 5:30am
It's my pleasure to play one great song after another for you in Westchester and the Hudson Valley during the overnight hours on 100.7 WHUD.
When I first arrived here in 2002 as a fill in, I was reunited with some talented people I had worked with at other radio stations, like Tom Furci, Andy Bale and Steve Jordan.
My radio career goes back to the early 1970s. Most recently I hosted Good Morning Hudson Valley for ten years on WHUD's sister stations WLNA and WBNR. This gig gave me an opportunity to interview a number of stars and legends from the world of entertainment sports and politics. I previously worked at "Connecticut's First Station" WDRC in Hartford as well as another major Connecticut station, Star 99.9 WEZN in Bridgeport where I did morning and mid-day shows. I spent ten years in the 1980s as program director and mid-day host on the old WVIP-FM in Mt.Kisco where I worked with WHUD's Tom Furci. My first years in radio were spent at WINE and I-95 in Danbury.
In 1991 I was fortunate to be hired as morning personality on a legendary New York City Beautiful Music outlet, WPAT AM & FM with studios in Clifton, New Jersey. I worked there for five years until the stations were sold and a Spanish format was introduced. During my time at WPAT it was not unusual for people like Tony Bennett and Herb Alpert to stop by the WPAT studios and visit with the on air staff. I had the pleasure of working with WHUD's Andy Bale and Steve Jordan while at WPAT.
I grew up in Brewster but have called Danbury home for most of my adult life. I attended Western Connecticut State College. My daughter Nikki, is mom to my two preteen grandsons, Mason and Dylan. My hobbies include writing, playing guitar and fishing. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music.
I'm honored to be part of the WHUD air staff. I hope you’ll tune in for some great music during the overnight hours!
