Isn't this a great shot?
My firend Maggie passed it on to me in cute e-mail.
I don't know where the picture orginated...but it makes me smile.
This time of year - I like to look up. Pink and periwinkle sunrises, fiery orange sunsets, black and starry skies, moonlight through the frosty tree branches - all the good stuff is up there. This December 14th is a good night to see a meteor shower too.
Thousands of years ago people looked up to see a bright star guiding them to the birth place of poor Jewish boy. That's just one of the miracles we remember this time of year.
Right now, 150 men are living at St. Christopher's Inn at Graymoor in Garrison fighting to beat their addictions. During the holidays, the number of men there will grow. It's tradition for Friars who run the Inn to give each man the gift of a new shirt on Christmas. Remember the feeling of getting something crisp and new on Christmas day? Want to give that feeling to someone else? Donations of new, dress, golf and casual shirts can be sent to Anthony Gallichio, Graymoor, Director of Development, PO Box 150, 21 Fransican Way, Garrison, NY 10524.
Miracles we may not see or hear about are happening every day.
You and I can be blessed to be part of them.
Look up -
Enjoy the show....
Happy Channukah
Merry Christmas
Love.
