A gorgeous pair! My nephew Matthew and My Mike. They have a great bond - Mike makes the best RIBS you've ever tasted - and Matt EATS them. It's a beautiful thing. We had some summer fun at Yankee Stadium on the 5th of July. I had never seen Mariano come out of the bullpen, walk across the field and up to the pitcher's mound in person before. Witnessing that, and a Yankee win, while standing next to my New York born brother and his Atlanta family? Perfect.

My father's father was among the group of Italian Immigrants who started this traditional Italian Street Fair 85 years ago. Working side by side in the wine, pasta and pastry booth with the Capicotti, Furfaro, Marafiotti and Albanese children and grandchildren, and dozens of other great families, is a tribute to the old world ways that shaped us. It's our way of saying Thank You. Grazia.
