Play Ball!

Happy Spring!

My brilliant boyfriend Mike had the fabulous idea to visit Legends Field in Florida this pre season.
Yankee's broadcasters John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman were kind to let us see the game from their point of view. When I see you, ask me about how I "just missed" bumping into Johnny Damon and George Steinbrenner as each time I was looking the other way! Still, it was a thrill a minute - and the next time my Mike taps my shoulder and says "Kace...uh...Kace..." I will turn around immediately!

I am sorry I will miss the Dogs Walk for the American Cancer Society at Bear Mountain Park this year -I'll be on my way to Barbados on May 6. Tom Furci will be there with his pug - join him! www.cancer.org/nydogswalk.

While you're browsing, you may want to visit www.safeteendriver.org Actor Dean Cain made a movie about the true and moving story of Bruce Murakami - a father who forgave the teenage driver who killed Mrs. Murakami and their young daughter. If you have kids who drive - you may want to share it with them.

Graymoor at Garrison will present a play in May - The Jeweler's Shop - written by Pope John Paul the Second. Yes - the Pope wrote plays....I didn't know that. But I will get more information and let you know - or you can call the Spiritual Life Center at Graymoor 845-424-3671

Yes, I am getting ready for The Italian Feast in Verplanck! July 19 - 22. Italian - American Idol III is our annual singing competition Saturday night the July 21. Call me if you want to be part of it. 845 838 6027.

Did you ever think about accupuncture? I just finished a 5 week course at The Garrison - and haven't used my asthma inhaler yet - and that feels great! -So do Robin Queen's facials at Monteverde! Now I am ready to face spring.

Golfing, grilling, gardening and hiking - that's what's keeping me busy right now. Berto and Bela are happy too. I wish to invent a car that runs on pet hair.

Blessing to you and yours - and Enjoy the Spring Sunshine...
(Sunscreen, Everybody!)
