Hello My Busy Friends....
It's been some life lately! - Running here and there - meeting wonderful people.
I met some of your amazing kids during my school visits this spring. The students at Childside at Putnam Valley Elementary taught me to "give my brain a kiss" when I get something right. So if you see me kissing my hand and smacking myself in the head - that means I just remembered something!
And speaking of memories....The fashion show put on by the therapists and practicioners at Children's Rehabilitiation Center in White Plains was a beautiful event. These woman, who work so hard with very special children, had an evening to strut their stuff and raise some money for their beloved Karate project.
Mamaplaooza - with Terry Platz and Motherlode Trio! There are no words - it was a perfect day of music, food, family and fun at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. Be there next year!
Oh! The Dogswalk Against Cancer - that was another great day at Bear Mountain State Park. Berto enjoyed the day with near a thousand other pups and their oustanding humans.
There have been so many wonderful days and nights ...I am grateful for the many places WHUD takes me. I thank God for the gift of living life out loud with you in Westchester and The Hudson Valley.
For the summer - I hope to rest a little...there are a pile of books on my nightstand that want to be in my lap under a tree...

Come to the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel July 13 - 16 in Verplanck - with Italian-American Idol II on Saturday, the 15th at 7 PM. Want to sing an Italian song - or a song made popular by an Italian-American artist? From Madonna to Sinatra or O Sole Mio - we'll hear it all - out in the street - at the corner of 8th and Highland in Verplanck. Join me there as we bring back the glory of an old fashioned Italian street fair. There'll be magic shows Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 PM. Sunday, after 11 AM mass, we process through the streets with the Madonna - the statue of Mary - that is! Join us for unforgettable experience. Fireworks - Sunday at 10:30 PM!
It's a great big parade - this life we share. Take some time to breathe it in and feel the flow...
