Surgery! Said the Doctor...

Surgery! said the nurse. Surgery! said the lady with the alligator purse!

Well, as you may have been hearing - I've had some back issues.
What started as "a little tension" led to sciatica and eventually a herniated disc.
Now the doctor wants to operate - like yesterday, and I am doing my best to stay away from him with yoga, reiki, acupuncture, chiropractics AND a whole lot of faith and prayers.

It's AMAZING how many people have gone through the same thing!
Get the surgery! Don't Get the surgery! Get the shots! Complete strangers will stop and tell me their story when they see my back brace and cane. In a funny way, it gave me a medical education.

What isn't funny is the way I learned this lesson. I - the self proclaimed peaceful, healthy person - was in denial for months. It didn't have to come to this, but I kept pushing, going too fast in too many directions. When the universe wants you to SIT DOWN - it can really make its point clear.
